Apparently 16 women and 2 men (Homosexuals) were chosen from almost 300,000 people to be Paris Hilton's best friend.,
"Paris Hilton's new Best Friend" will go with her to various events and help protect Paris from weirdos and photographers. (maybe they are the same thing)
Manufactured bands, manufactured singers, now we have manufactured friends. I guess Paris Hilton is creating a natural extension of what fakeness is already out there in Hollywoodland and beyond.
I wonder if this could be an actual attempt for Paris Hilton to fina a "real" friend, after all I guess a person like Paris Hilton might find it very hard to find a genuine friend. Perhaps the method of publicity and money makes perfect sense for a girl who has everything materially, but not necessarily emotionally.
I mean, we all need friends, right?
